THE IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS ON ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES
Abstract: This study investigates the impact of leadership skills on administrative roles, aiming to identify the specific leadership competencies that enhance administrative effectiveness. A survey method was used to collect data from 380 participants, selected through Taro Yamane’s formula to ensure statistical validity. The case study focuses on a manufacturing company in Ogun, where leadership skills are pivotal for managing administrative tasks. The survey’s reliability coefficient score was 0.88, demonstrating a high level of internal consistency. Findings show that leadership skills, including decision-making, team management, and strategic thinking, significantly enhance administrative roles. The study recommends the integration of leadership development programs in administrative training to foster a more dynamic and effective administrative workforce.
